International Development Bank Launches Iraq’s First IDB Smart zone

The International Development Bank (IDB), one of Iraq’s leading private banks and a pioneer in innovative financial solutions, has announced the launch of the country’s first fully  IDB Smart zone, The new  IDB Smart zone allows customers to complete all their banking transactions independently, without the need for staff assistance, operating 24/7 throughout the week. This milestone highlights IDB’s strong commitment to digital transformation and innovation within the Iraqi banking sector.

Located inside the bank’s headquarters building on Abu Nawas Street in Baghdad, the IDB Smart zone is accessible to all customers, introducing Iraq’s first fully integrated digital banking experience.

Through this innovative IDB Smart zone, clients can complete a wide range of transactions in just minutes. Services are available for individuals, businesses, investors, entrepreneurs, and content creators, and include opening accounts and deposits, cash withdrawal and deposit, check deposits and checkbook requests, card issuance, account-to-account transfers, purchasing gold ounces, printing account statements, loan settlements, as well as receiving payments for content creators and other advanced services.

The IDB Smart zone also offers customers the option to connect directly with customer service representatives through live audio and video, ensuring a more interactive, flexible, and responsive banking experience.
