The International Development Bank (IDB) is opening its doors to nationalize the salaries of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG)

The International Development Bank (IDB) has officially began paying the salaries of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) employees under the “My Account” project, which is being implemented with the assistance of the Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG).

The International Bank operates two branches in Erbil, one in Sulaymaniyah and one in Dohuk, complementing an ATM network across all provinces. The bank offers comprehensive banking services to salaried employees, including personal loans, small project financing, and internationally recognized debit cards. These cards are linked to the official exchange rate of the Central Bank of Iraq and support all types of accounts and digital banking services, accessed through user-friendly smartphone applications.

Employees within the Kurdistan Region can now benefit from the bank’s advanced services, including national payroll accounts, credit cards, and financial facilities designed to streamline their access to local and international financial systems.

IDB is committed to enhancing its services and expanding its operations to serve clients across Iraq, from the southernmost regions to the far north.
